“Not very impressed. First, the cabin didn’t match the pics, very big let down. Never got an instruction email, so had to call about checking in; “Keys inside, door’s open!” Took 10 minutes of driving around the cabin area trying to find the cabin (we arrived at 9pm so it was dark), as we were looking for a larger and nicer one than the one that we had. Finally upon finding it, it was not what we expected at all. TV is in the kitchen/dining room, with no comfortable chairs to sit in. There……

“The parking situation and how to actually check-in was a little rough, since there are few parking spots, all are very small, and the check-in desk is in a different hotel. Once that got sorted, it was very smooth. The attendant showed us where we can park outside, which was way more spacious. The worst I can say about the room is that one particular floorboard creaked loudly when touched (I feel sorry for anyone who was in the floor below me). All in all, it was a great experience. “We loved the view from our unit. We stayed for 4 nights and would recommend bringing a small package if toilet paper. They do provide one extra roll but when I asked for more, housekeeping never left it for us. We managed and overall it was a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone. Would would stay there again!”

“The view was beautiful, and overall our stay was good, but the property could use some updates. The biggest issue was the hot water. After two showers, there was no hot water left, so the rest of us had to take cold showers, which was very disappointing. Also, be aware that laundry is not included—you have to pay separately to use the laundry facilities. With a few improvements, especially to the water heater, this place would provide a much better experience.”

“The advertising photo of the nice cabin is not the cabin we got and booking was misleading. No AC, no water, no bathroom, just the cabin and two outlets. The advertising is misleading as there was no coffee. The coffee house pictured is not open. The people were very nice, it was quiet and it looks like they are really trying to do some nice improvements. The shared shower house and bathrooms are very nice, just a long walk in the middle of the night. It was very nice for having our dog along……

“We loved everything about the stay! The owners were super super friendly and helpful. The cabin and grounds were clean. We killed a few spiders, one being a black widow. Spiders are expected everywhere. Just something for owners ro be aware of. We loved the fire pit, swings, games, grill access. Al around we give this place 5 stars!”

“We enjoyed our stay at Mountainside Inn. The condo was clean and comfortable. We loved the river side trail and that the location was so close to town that we could walk just about everywhere. Two small complaints: limited parking and dull knives. We would stay here again if we come back to Telluride!”
