“Cute and comfy place to stay. Smells like fresh cookies when you walk in. Beds were comfortable and the setup worked well for our 1 night stay. Host, Bernadette was pleasant and communicated the needed information well before our arrival, making it a smooth process. Close walk to things in ocean grove as well as asbury.”

“This Carriage House was the best B & B my wife and I have visited so far! Super helpful staff, great breakfast, very clean room, just a few minutes walk from the beach, serene surroundings. We highly recommend The Carriage House to anyone visiting Ocean Grove area. And we loved walking the streets of quaint Ocean Grove, NJ, which is our new favorite NJ location 😊🇺🇸”

“Excellent service and great location”

“Dated, but clean room and well-maintained property near the ocean.”

“Great continental breakfast. Friendly staff and very clean rooms. Perfect all the way around.”

“This was a 2 room apartment. It was spotlessly clean. Very nice bathroom. We only slept there, but there was a small microwave above the sink, so you could do oatmeal or microwave food, esp if wanting to have breakfast there. Kuerig coffee pot, some pods, and a few creamers...you'd need more if a couple folks don't want black coffee. A nice dorm style fridge for your food from home or leftovers from dinner! We were very impressed with this lovely place. Super quiet, 2nd floor porch/balcony with……

“It could use a chair in the room.”

“Loved the property and the location! I gave only 4 stars because of the room, I messaged the owner about a few things I thought needed improvement. Otherwise, it had everything I needed. The pic is from the 1st floor balcony :)”

“Not the romantic getaway we expected… Pictures shown in the listing did not accurately depict the room we rented. While the room appeared clean it was not in the best of shape. The bathroom had missing hooks, drywall in need of repair and as overall teeny tiny. The towels looked like someone pulled them out of their hall closet. The room itself was tight. The floors were sloped. The door was a basic interior door that didn’t provide a sense of security. The bed did not have a headboard. And……

“Picture of the bedroom was not as depicted in the ad, big gap under door entrance to the room, box spring mattress missing lowering the bed extremely low, shower curtain fell down even before I got a chance to use it should be anchored on both sides. Positives were the hvac was great, the bathroom nice and very easy to access with a code.”

“Location was good”

“Easy walk to the beach and Danny has beach passes you can use. A lot to do on the beach with nice restaurants. Beach is clean and feels safe. Neighborhood is very clean and safe as well. G&G”

“It was a great little room for a one night stay for a wedding . Check in was easy , it was clean and in a great location it was walking distance about a 5 min walk to downtown ocean grove and a ten minute drive to asbury park . Also communication with the host was great, answered me quickly and was helpful with any questions I had . ”

“Everything was great, exactly as advertised, short walk to everything. Perfect for a quick beach stay.”
