"The apartment was clean and in a great location. The hosts were super responsive after we got there and needed a few things. The listing states the sleeper sofa in the living space can accommodate two people, which is a stretch. Maybe two small children but not adults. My two petite college aged daughters barely fit —they were uncomfortable and didn’t sleep well. Also, having an electric tea kettle in the kitchen area would be nice!"

"The home was very dirty, mold in the shower, floors not swept or vacuumed. No clean dishes inside of the cupboards. Appliances cracked and run down. Heat setting was set at 65 and no option to change. Hot water for the shower was very temperamental making showers cold midway with no warning or reason. TV in bedroom would not turn on. Wifi advertised but have to pay for it. Metro advertised as a 15 minute walk but no directions on how to get to it. Limited linens- no wash cloths, not enough...

"The house is spacious but it’s dated and there were some cleanliness and quality of life issues. The main level floors and kitchen cabinets were sticky and visibly dirty. The upstairs shower stall faucet leaked so much it was unusable. The issues we had with the tv not working and the heat being set to a low temp without access to change it were met with resistance by the host. The stairs are quite steep and were difficult to manage with a toddler and an elderly parent. While bed linens and bath...
