"We arrived Friday May 24th 2024 at around 6:30ish. Has been awhile since I’ve been in New York State. No cell service and it wasn’t until I signed back into VRBO that I received instructions how to get into the cabin. Cabin is absolutely gorgeous. As others commented about the smell of smoke, well yeah, there is a wood stove. I heat my mountain home with wood, smelled of home. We brought our lovely lady along with us, she is 9 years old, she isn’t a fan of the flooring lucky we brought her bed....

"Plumbing was a challenge because couldn’t wash dishes without boiling water and didn’t want to wash ourselves or brush our teeth with the smelly water. Also, the propane only lasted 2 days; was dead on 3rd day (probably because of boiling water). We enjoyed the solitude, even though the road noise is present. All in all it was a pleasant couple days as we lucked out with beautiful weather."

"We only rented the cabin for the night and unfortunately we had bad weather luck of the draw haha but we still had an amazing time it was nice to get away from technology for a little while and just relax, beautiful cabin and property would definitely come again"

"Very clean and well stocked cabin. This should be on anyone list who wants to enjoy a clean beautiful location. We had a great time hiking the Allegheny State Park just short drive down the road. Then sitting around the fire pit watching the moon rise. Throughly enjoyable!"

"We stayed for the total eclipse and enjoyed everything the cabin had to offer. The hot tub is amazing! The surrounding forest is very nice and quiet. The kitchen well appointed. Bathrooms are very nice and the beds are comfortable. In being critical, the only critiques would be: The dishwasher isn’t installed properly, still works though! "We enjoyed a long weekend of cabin life in this cozy place. We found everything clean and welcoming. We appreciated the plentiful towels, coffee pods, and wood for the fire-pit. The cabin is roomy with 2 beds upstairs plus a twin bed downstairs- a great setup for a family. Our dog had a great time too! The pond behind the cabin was a lovely spot to bask in the sunshine. The hot tub was warm and pristine. The cabin is private but still less than 10 minutes away from the charming downtown shops...
