"Can’t comment on breakfast- did not partake. In general the room was clean but found a q-tip and wad of hair on floor. Staff were friendly and accommodating but housekeepers were very noisy. Parking area safe and well lit. "

"This is the second time we have stayed in the house. The location and layout are amazing. We were there for all star village and it is only 5 minutes away from the fields, which was helpful to go back and forth and not feel tied to stay at the fields.The pool size is amazing and great for the kids. If it rains, you can have fun inside at the pool. Unfortunately our stay had no heat in the pool and hot tub did not work.The place is old and has the same set up from three years ago. General areas are set up well but basement and office had really high temperatures because of air flow. A few of the rooms had odor from the bathrooms and some of the beds are pretty old. A fix up would be great to make this place as good as its location and set up.The deck and back yard is a great space. Cookouts or smores with the fire pit can be done at night.Owner was responsive and helpful. The place is just old and has character so had to deal with it throughout the stay."

"Very clean. Everything you need"

"We just got home from a week at the Back Stop and it was a terrific place. Just a six minute drive to All Star Village and located in between the baseball festivities and downtown Oneonta which is also just a five minute drive. The apartment is on a really large plot of land with access to the owners pool until 8pm at night. Tammy and Eddy were terrific hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. They even had homemade cookies upon our arrival and Tammy came down with homemade blueberry muffins one day which were fantastic. The apartment has two bedrooms...one with a queen and the other with two twin beds. Also includes a full kitchen and decent size living area. You can see how much care they take for the apartment and experience of the guests. They even have a bunch of all-star village pins on display from all the teams that have stayed. We actually found our team pin there from 4 years back and recognized all the last names from town. A five star experience!"
