"Supposedly the computers were down for a couple of days so upon our arrival everything was hand written and they didn’t have my room ready. Even when I called earlier to say I would be late to check in. Arriving around 10:30 pm to check in my room wasn’t available. I had to wait 15 to 20 minutes to get a room. No offer for compensation. Supposedly they would give me the king bed I reserved prior but I was never contacted about the situation. I was there for my son’s graduation at Harvard so we had a full few days with no time to resolve the issue in our end. But no one reached out to us either. The next to last day before check out. There was a storm and the power went out. An hour later the fire alarm went off. I smelled smoke but was told by a guest that it was diesel fuel from the generators. We left to seek out breakfast and start our day. I tried calling to see if we had power yet around 6:30. No answer from front desk. So we just had to show up and hope for the best. The lights were on by 8 pm , the time we arrived back to the hotel. Afterwards we packed for our early check out the next morning. It was eventful to say the least but the esthetic were pleasing nonetheless."

"No luggage rack! Not well decorated room. Chargers on lamp didn't work. Lighting is way too bright and bathroom vent way too loud! Tub floor was slippery and no safety bars in the shower. No one at front desk when I had a question. Terrible parking when it rains as alot of the pavement seems to get flooded. Loud music from the bar until pretty late. Only one door in and out and some of the rooms are far far away from the main door. Also no elevator if you have heavy suitcases so you have to lug them up the creaky rather steep stairs. I've stayed at this property years ago many times; it has undergone a "modern" vibe but has gone downhill in many ways in my opinion. However, excellent location for walking around the lake or paying extra for a lake view. All in all a very mediocre motel with too high prices on wkends."

"Room was very clean and comfortable. Water pressure was good in the shower. Only bummer is we thought one called for the airport shuttle to arrange pick-up from the hotel, since the card at the check-in desk said to. It turns out, the shuttle runs to the airport every half hour which would have been fine if we knew to plan accordingly. Unfortunately, we had just missed one and were worried taking the next would make us too late, so we took an uber to the airport. Otherwise, our stay was great, and we would stay there again."
