“the atmosphere felt like home great service and personal”

“Much more like my own home than a typical motel. I like the fact that it had separate kitchen area, bedroom, and bath. There was a little sand left in the bathtub from the previous occupant, but sand is just part of life at the beach.”

“Everything is clean staff are amazing and the easy access to the beach and the pool very awesome and the kids pool not deep enough for a one year old to sit down in the water definitely going again”

“We were disappointed with this property. We had stayed here in previous years and had no problems. However this trip the property is showing wear and tear. Public bathrooms were dirty. There were a number of times there were no towels in pool area. Staff was nice but overall the property was not what was expected for the cost. We will not be going back.”

“Excellent location however, the bar and pool area were also open to the public. We came back from eating dinner and had no place to park at the hotel because it was full with the public bar parking. The owner said our stay did not include guaranteed parking. There wasn’t any parking available in the street either. We were not allowed to bring our own alcohol into the pool area since it was part of the bar, if we wanted something to drink, we had to buy from them. The water pressure in our room……

“Room was pretty clean, air conditioning was excellent. Kept the room very cool even with mid 90s heat. Pool was clean. Parking is based on a daily pay rate, but you could park on the street at no charge. I needed to stay one more night beyond my reservation and they accommodated that request at a reasonable rate. The only downside would be the pillows. I had 4 pillows and none of them were comfortable at all. They were all flat, no fluff or support. No decor, but do you really need……

“This property is old and needs some maintenance and structure updates to be a comfortable stay. I stayed with my daughters for three nights. Each day we left the hotel and came back the room card was deactivated. There was one towel placed at arrival for a reservation of four. The wall against the AC unit on the bottom appeared to have mold and rust build up. There were two occasion with bugs… a roach and a small spider. Ruined the comfort level. Pillows were horrible. On a positive……

“YOU CAN FIND BETTER! KEEP LOOKING!! Absolute disappointment of a room! I stayed in a cheap $60 room in San Antonio that felt on par with this dump. Room 102. The smell hits you the moment you open the door. It churned my stomach and felt like i was losing brain cells. I felt so disgusted I didnt want to take my shoes off. Then i see a used tissue on the box. I didnt even bother sleeping there. I couldnt access the parking in front of my room because it was so inconvenient. Had to tell some idiot……

“Staff was great. Everyone was so kind and helpful. 3 minute walk from the room to the beach. Would definitely stay there again.”
