“Awful! Our AC leaked water all over the tile, the deadbolt on our door didn’t lock. Jeanette at the front desk was incredibly rude after we contacted Expedia. She told us she sent maintenance up, w/o even asking our concerns. He then came in, drilled the door, vacuumed out the AC, and left. He didn’t speak English, so we weren’t sure the next steps. Front desk never followed up. AC continued to leak for remainder of our stay. We had to lay towels down. Water leaking on a tile floor equals……

“Property did not have a gym on site, there was no live music or any activities going on. Housekeeping was very slow only replace the towels and made beds. They didn’t really clean.”

“Pros: Great location near the beach, cute motel style, pet friendly, non- smoking with large penalty for violation, with a caveat. Very reasonably priced. Daily room cleaning without having to ask, quiet. Mini fridge and microwave. 24-hour office with parking lot cameras. Common conference area with coffee, tables, TV, mini store-I had a Zoom meeting there. A/C works great. Keys work without constant recharge. Changed WiFi code weekly. Staff and management are friendly and helpful. Cons; Two……

“Staying at Upper Deck was seriously AMAZING! From the staff to the amenities, everything was great. My husband and I had a blast hanging out by the pool all day and ate wonderful dinners prepared by the bar chefs. We can’t wait to go back to SPI just to stay here again!”

“Parking was our biggest issue, having to walk a good three mins to enter was not great. Made us not want to leave to site see. We Ordered drinks by the bar ( poolside service) and they NEVER came back with our order we waited over an hour.. Then our room ac was hot all afternoon until maintenance came by. Other than that pool and room were in great standards. Clean and fresh. Up front hotel Staff (including cady boy) were also very nice and friendly.”

“Towels were never available when me and my family needed them we kept being told housekeeping would bring them to us after they have been washed every single day we traveled 8 hrs and couldn’t never shower at the exact time we wanted. Also the hotel didn’t have face towels at all so we had to buy our own which is ridiculous never had to do this at any other hotel ever in my entire life. Also the power went out and smone alarm went off and no explanation was given for either one. The breakfast……

“The apartment space was neatly cleaned, pet friendly. They provided a dog bed and a bowl for food and water. The pool was well kept, very clean. I would definitely rent it again if it’s available during our next trip.”

“When I got there , the lobbies wasn’t in the office it took her 30 min to come out because she had fallen asleep in a room and she had an attitude because we had woken her up never again staying there !”
