“Fantastic hotel really with loads of character set in lovely grounds running down to the river. Small personal homely feel not a bland corporate Staff were very welcoming and friendly. “The room was exceptionally spacious and full of character. Many hotels are a bit soulless but this is far from the case here. The staff were professional, friendly and always with a smile. I've seen a few reviews have commented on 'hidden charges' - breakfast isn't included but this is clear from the very start and there's no pressure to eat here in the morning. If you do, however, the food is excellent (we had dinner) and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

The church of All Saints. The church of All Saints > 712225 - 712245 - 712243 is located a short distance to the north of the former Rackheath airfield. It contains a number of wall monuments > 712233 - 712236, the majority of which are to members of two prominent local families: Pettus > 712241 and Stracey. The perhaps best known member of the Pettus family is John Pettus, who lived at Rackheath Hall from 1591-1772; he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth I and was Mayor of Norwich in 1608. All Saints is now redundant and in the care of the Norfolk Churches Trust.
