“Nice stay for a night in St. Peter’s. Comfortable sleep, good water pressure in the shower! ”

“Nice area. Pet friendly, which is great. The cottages are spacious but dated. Some of the cottages and similiar to a duplex, with another guest staying on the other side of the wall. Ours was like this and our neighbors were a bit noisy until 11-1130pm. We stayed here in October so cannot comment on the pool.”

“It was everything we were looking for. Quite, great scenery. The dome was clean and was equipped with anything you would need or want...except tea. Lots of coffee but no tea. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. ”

“Sandy and John are what Cape Breton hospitality is all about. Their well appointed home has everything you need and more. The magical path to the beach is lit with fairy lights and although a fire ban was in place during our visit we enjoyed their deck fire pit on crisp October nights. The house is secluded and surrounded by beautiful fall foliage. Internet and a large screen smart tv are available for rainy days. Not a sound was heard or a living soul spotted during our stay and we slept oh so……

“We had an incredible stay at Lazy Bear cottage! The view was absolutely stunning, and the hosts Alexandra and the Mashaghati family thought of everything. The interior was spotless, with charming decor that made the space feel cozy and welcoming. The bed was super comfy, and there were plenty of towels provided for both the hot tub and bathroom. “The Lakeside Dome is a perfect spot for a quiet getaway. We enjoyed the view of the lake and it was very close to the Dundee resort where we were attending a wedding. A nice retreat.”

“Looking for peace and quiet with an amazing view; this is the place to go. The wooden cottage is located up a hill with an amazing view on Lake Bras d’Or. The pictures are 100% accurate. Only thing to keep in mind, the drive up the hill is quite steep and the gravel road is quite bumpy. If you don’t drive a 4x4 or an awd vehicle, make sure your car is not too close to the ground or you could scrape and cause damage.”
