One of the highlights was watching wildlife from the deck — we were lucky enough to see two moose walk right through the creek below and spotted plenty of yellow-bellied marmots throughout our visit. The setting is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and on cooler days we enjoyed building fires in the fireplace. It was the perfect blend of comfort and wilderness. We definitely recommend this spot and would love to come back!"

"Address was not correct on the email from VRBO. Cabin advertised was not the one we were put in. Floor was not vacuumed. River on property is amazing. Don’t expect much more than a camp house. "We had a wonderful time at Croll Cabins! The owner and staff were amzing and super friendly. This place is not like most that want to nickle and dime you until you have nothing left to give. They offer free firewood, kayaks, paddle boards, and a paddle boat with your stay! If you are looking for a great family get away, this is your place!"

"We love visiting Silverton and largely because we have an EV we choose to stay at Wyman for the charging that is available there. The fall color change this year was perfectly aligned with our visit and we’ll not forget what we saw on the daily treks we made towards Ouray. The only input I have is that in general it is best to put EV chargers in parking spots which are relatively undesirable. Of the 4 chargers at the hotel 2 are in prime spots right in front of the hotel so more often than not they are unavailable not because they are being used but because an ICE is parked there. It was never problematical for us but on a busy weekend we’d probably be inclined to take our ICE and eliminate the possibility of not having enough charge for the days adventures due to unavailability of chargers. "

"This place is a gem. Located right in the middle of downtown. You can walk to restaurants, shopping, and the train station. We stayed in room #1. The room is totally updated with heated floors and a nice walk in shower. If you are looking to stay in Silverton, this should be your first choice. Highly recommend!!!!!"
