“Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The beach was really too far to walk and driving a car to the public parking was hit or miss. Most people seemed to use bikes or golf carts. The reasons for a 4 out of 5 stars is that the bath mat was still wet from the previous renters and did not appear to have been cleaned. This gave me an icky feeling. One of the lamps was broken. I enjoyed having the kitchen area. Just seems like coffee could have been provided. Bring your own hairdryer and toiletries.……

“Hyatt Place at San Destin is a great alternative from the big resort style locations. Their customer service and hospitality were far superior to other places in the area. Our room was clean and spacious. The complimentary breakfast included a variety of hot/cold options for all ages. The hotel also has a happy hour from 5-7, that includes great food & drink options at $4-$6. The hotel is in a great location: close to outlets, beaches, and restaurants. I will definitely recommend Hyatt……

“Our room was immaculate, roomy, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and the lobby was a wonderful place to relax when we wanted to spread out a bit. The workout facilities were excellent and the pool was clean and the area was well furnished. I highly recommend.”

“The staff were wonderful! Toni, who worked the breakfast every morning was so hard-working and so friendly! It was a nice variety for the breakfast that always had an egg and a meat offered, and the spinach egg bake was wonderful! They also offered a variety of different fruits and yummy muffins that changed out as soon as they ran out and as soon as something was empty, it was filled immediately! “Absolutely loved it here! The room was clean, housing keeping came by to bring fresh towels. It is walking distance from the beach and local restaurants. It is also super close to the shopping outlets! I wish the pool was bigger but I would definitely book again!”
