“Our first post lockdown trip within the country. We accidentally booked the accessible room. Staff was very helpful and changed to another normal room for our 4 night stay. Stylish room with well equipped kitchen. It was a bit warm in the room though. Another little down side was the ground floor room has less natural lights. Delicious breakfast from café Mayvn. We enjoyed our stay very much. Everyone trying to maintain a social distance from each other, sanitising everything after use,……

“Stayed for 1 night with my husband. Hotel very central. Room lovely as is bathroom. Bed very comfortable and TV fantastic. Liked the late (noon) check out. Seating area downstairs was really nice for getting a coffee and people watching. Also appreciated the reduction on our parking fee. I would stay again.”

“This is the second time I live here. This time my room is next to an alley that you can hear people talking outside. It is a bit noisy compare to my first stay. The good side is the room and bathroom are still clean. A nice place to stay with a resonable price.”

“We only stayed one night, so overall is good and the staff are helpful and you have variety choices of breakfast. There is small issue of the socket, light, and clog drain in the wash basin, but since we only stayed one night so would reflect to ibis directly.”

“I originally thought it would be a guesthouse quality in terms of cleanliness, but turned out it’s even cleaner than a hotel especially the bathroom. Everything looks new in the bathroom with a lot of towels available and the shower gel, shampoo etc. Reception is very nice and location is near bus stops where you can get to Edinburgh centre quite easily.”

“While I appreciate Edinburgh was busy due to a big music concert, the marathon and it being a English Bank Holiday weekend, the hotel were clearly charging a premium which wasn't deserved! For the price, I've experienced significantly better accommodation throughput the world. “The plus was free parking, within walking distance of city centre, provided you ordered and paid for breakfast the night before, it provided good value for money, and quality bathroom towels. Hotel is aged and rooms would benefit from a 'face lift'. Happy to recommend.”
