“This was our first time staying in Carova-make sure your 4x4 is in working order beforehand. Unfortunately our truck couldn’t navigate through the soft sand even though we aired way down to 10 psi. Called Mr. Clipper for assistance and he immediately sent help. We ended up renting a jeep the next day which was actually pretty fun. The house was easy to find on our navigation and Mr. Culpepper actually called us beforehand to let us know we were good to go and check- in a little earlier than……

“We travel to Elizabeth City every 3 months or so,to visit family.We have 3 grandchildren that spend as much time with us as possible while we are there.This house was perfect,and very child friendly.They loved the bunk room and all of the touches that made them feel at home.We we’re able to walk to down town to eat or shop.We also enjoyed having the fenced yard and used the grill that was provided.It was perfect.The host was very near by which gave us comfort if we needed anything,which we did……

“This place is amazing! It’s in the perfect spot! The house is stocked with everything! Furniture is comfy, tons of room to spread out, but also great places to gather as a family. “We needed a place to stay close to my grandmothers nursing home. Rick accommodated us very last minute and gave us the perfect place to stay. Comfortable beds, easy check in process, responsive host, great location on the sound and near a great seafood restaurant; Frog Island. The pool table and games were nice to do in the evenings. We had zero problems with the water, as mentioned in a previous review. The house was clean and well stocked with coffee, cream, toiletries etc. There is a bait……
