“We Loved the cottage on the lake. Beautiful views, close to anything you need. We felt right at home. The kids loved the bunk rooms.”

“My friend and I stayed for a week to go fishing Lake Champlain for the first time and our stay at The Captains Quarters was everything we had expected, there was an open floor plan with 1 bed and a futon but the futon was very comfortable. We would rent this place again because of the location on the water, a boat slip that we could rent out and the hospitality of the host, Chuck, was exceptional.”

“We loved this property. We were a group of six and used all the bedrooms. We also had a larger group (10) for a family dinner. The house accommodated us just fine. Great kitchen and living spaces. Phenomenal view and location. Truly peaceful, beautiful and a great space. Jeff was a great host and came up to the house when we needed help. Our visit there could not have gone better.”

“Location on the lake is beautiful. Sort of far from st albans 15-30 mins drive and 30-35 to Burlington. We visited for a UVM graduation so went back and forth a lot. Overall house is large and spacious with some updated amenities like appliances. Master is beautiful but other rooms are tight. Road can be loud with cars at night. with some easy changes things would be more pleasant Upon arrival we immediately noticed that floors and windowsills were not swept and cleaned recently - which was……

“The property was a beautiful stay, my family and I quite enjoyed it. The lack of Tv on the property allowed my family to spend more time talking together and going outside. Because of the equipment available, i was able to go paddle boating for the very first time. We also enjoyed making all lot of great food on the outdoor firepit. Overall, would recommend this property to anyone looking for a family getaway.”
