“The cottage was amazing. When you open the front door you're greeted with wide plank pine flooring, hand hewed beams, barn board walls and beautiful stone fireplaces. The large windows on the back walls lets in an abundance of light. The kitchen is appointed with modern appliances and everything you need to prepare a meal at home. On the lower level is the master suite complete with second fireplace, comfortable queen bed and master bath with jacuzzi jetted tub. French doors open out to the back……

“The house was awesome, but it was not very clean when we arrived so I spent the first couple of hours cleaning. I washed some of the bedding myself and wiped down the kitchen and bathroom before we used them - there were hairs and muddy splash marks in the shower. The host had assured me the kitchen was equipped with everything I would need to cook meals, but the nonstick cookware was so old and scratched I did not want to use it. When I contacted the host to let him know, he just said nobody……
