“Nice rooms and front walkways w/ rocking chairs! It was very peaceful in the mornings especially sitting out and enjoying the calm outdoors. Breakfast was pretty good too. The pancake machine is very neat to my unsophisticated mind. ”

“It’s like walking into past. Large areas for sitting groups of friends and lots of old hotel ambience. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Location is easily with 30 minutes of Cherokee, Maggie valley and surrounding areas. ”

“Friendly staff, easy check-in, clean facility. Private balconies over a quiet stream. Continental breakfast served daily. Just a note in case stairs are an issue for other travelers (it wasn't for us), this is a 2-story hotel with no elevator.”

Friendly, safe and clean rooms are the most important to me. One downfall was shower head way to low and no ability to move it to direct spray. ”

“This bottom floor cabin is quite amazing. Denise and Larry thought of everything, every little detail. It was very relaxing being able to jump right in as the place was spotless!! (& I'm a little OCD about cleanliness). Clean and comfy sheets. The towels had a clean and refreshing smell too. It was really nice! It felt like a home away from home especially being able to have our two small dogs join us. I would strongly recommend this perfect lil cabin!! We didn't get an opportunity to check out……

“It was in an amazinly beautiful location and all the people we met, staff, etc. were very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was the inability to reach staff when we needed them. Housekeeping has no direct contact number. We kept going to the golf shop and he would arrange for what we needed by getting in touch for us”

“This cabin is very cozy and is in a nice, friendly neighborhood. The check-in process was great and the cabin is dog-friendly. However, the cabin was very dirty and needs some serious cleaning. I notified the property management company and the gentleman there apologized profusely. He also said he would email the owner, but I never heard anything back from them. We payed a big cleaning fee and I'm sure that every other renter before us did, too. However, it's obvious that this cabin has not been……
