“Starswept Studio was clean, comfortable, had everything I needed and was in a beautiful and well located area. I spent time in the National Park and on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I spent most of my time hiking and photographing the beauty of the area, I was fortunate to watch the full moonrise and the sunset one hour apart from Waterrock Knob. “Communication with the owners was stellar! They are very nice folks and very welcoming. A hot tub was mentioned in the property listing but did not seem available for guest use as it was located on the owner's personal property. The Nest itself was very comfortable and clean! The view was spectacular, waking up to the sunrise over the mountains. Overall a lovely place to stay and would highly recommend!”

“What a place to get away! Picture perfect views from your private hot tub, clean and upscale finishes inside your private quarters and unobtrusive property owners who are closeby if you need anything...what more could you want? Plus, it's within walking distance to town and the fairgrounds, provided you're fairly able-bodied. Parking can be a little nerve-wracking, but you're in the mountains, so that's to be expected. The owners provide better wifi than we have at home, and the water is hot and……

“Very nice place. The waterfall is a beautiful little touch and the hang out in the bottom floor was great. The upstairs living, bath, bed, and kitchen were way more than I expected. Like having an entire house.”

“The place was amazing and had literally everything little thing we needed. Even nice straw like coffee pods, sodas and some granola bars. Fantastic proximity to the ski slopes but be warned of steep roads everywhere! Would definitely suggest this location. Beds were comfy and it was nice to do a load of wash after night skiing.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! When we drove up and saw the relaxing front porch with seating, and the firepit close by, we knew it would be just like home! And the inside was cozy and comfortable. Plenty of room for teenagers and young children as well as adults. ( that master bedroom though! heaven!) The hospitality was great! snacks on the table, interesting books in case we were up for reading, even a pair of binoculars so that you can see the goats on the mountain out the front window!”
