The one thing I would improve would be to provide some kindling near the firepit that sits down by the water out front. “The property location was wonderful and the outside looked nice...if you didn't look too closely. I wish we had been more aware of the tired and shabby and rather stinky areas inside before we booked our room. Staff was lovely but our room was dark, smelly, old. We slept all night with the sliding door opened to give us some fresh air. The towels in the bathroom were old and beat up and would have been better put to use drying your wet dog or your car. “For the most part the room was good, clean and comfortable. There were a few things that we didn't care for but maybe others would not mind. The mattress was very firm(new memory foam-hard)and neither of us slept much the first night. There was a dusk to dawn light outside our door that made our room fairly light. The drapes were also thin, not lined. We had a good suggestion for dinner from the owner and also a lightbulb was replaced quickly. Location of the inn was good for us.”
