Weekend getaways in Egg Harbor

I was so very excited to arrive at this hotel and have it be everything I had hoped for. Our check in was efficient and we were so excited to see our room--spacious, clean, and modern. Perfect. We loved the extras like the on property smalll grocery/gift shop, beautiful public spaces like the hot tub and pool, fireplace area with magazines and games, and free coffee.

We were impressed by the expansive grounds. Seems like there's a lot to do -- although our stay was during cold and rainy weather. Our room featured a gas fireplace, which was a nice surprise. Each lodge-like building has a beautiful sitting area where you can watch the sunset -- and even a whirlpool and sauna. We also loved how close it was to the adorable town of Fish Creek. We're looking forward to staying here again in the future!

It is a wonderful place in a wonderful town in a wonderful county and I am with my wonderful wife. I ask myself how did get here.

No management staff on property but very accessible and responsive remotely via text. Everything was very automated from check in/out and turning on/off the fire pit.

Check in was easy, the woman at the front desk was very nice! Our room was comfortable and clean. The funky patterns on the walls and blinds was a really cool touch! We stayed only one night, not even 24 hours, but I’d stay again. The price was good and the location was out of the busy area of Fish Creek but still close enough to walk to everything.

Love the Beachfront Inn. We booked a room two days before and were pleasantly surprised to find it is a very nice and friendly place to stay. The room is clean and the bed is comfy. Easy access to all of Door County as you are 10-20 minutes from it all.

This was our second stay at Open Hearth and honestly, I don't think I will ever stay anywhere else. From the owners being more than accommodating (WIFI wasn't working in our room, it was fixed in 5 minutes), to the overall staff friendlyness, to the clean room and amazing breakfast (ok, lets talk about that pancake machine - AMAZING!!) This was a great experience. Bed was a little hard for my liking, but can't win everything.... and everything else was PERFECT!

The hotel is very clean and updated, and offers very reasonable rates. We had a deluxe lodge room: 2 queen beds (we used only one), a mini fridge, microwave, flat screen TV. We were in nearly the last room on the ground floor, with beautiful trees changing color all around us. We are both hand-stitchers, so once we took the plastic outside chairs inside, the room was perfect for us, and well lit. We had a small table and 2 chairs, so we prepared breakfast there every morning before taking...

It's right in front of the beautiful lakefront. The cars at night are a little loud because it's RIGHT by the street BUT very few drive by at night. The rooms are gorgeous and the staff is VERY knowledgeable and friendly! It's within walking distance of a lot of activities and restaurants too!

The staff was professional and amazing. The hotel was clean. The amenities are spot on. Walking distance to Fish Creek is so convenient. We will be back! Highly recommended.

Wonderful resort with access to a small private beach and nice balconies with view and lovely flowers. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and we received cold water in the frig as well as microwave popcorn. We enjoyed both. Nice breakfast choices but simple mostly, hard boiled eggs, Jimmy Dean microwave sandwiches, yogurt, bagels, muffins,, cereals and juices.coffee available most of the day in lobby and free wine in early evening. One of the best hotels I've ever been to. It was spacious, staff was very kind and helpful, had a great view of the water and this hotel was very quiet, peaceful, and private.
