“Yes, good fresh breakfast, nice to have warmed quality pastries to start the morning and more offered later. Car park is right on the corner of a one-way system so giving a warning of how quickly it comes upon you and W3W would help, otherwise if you realise its there just too late you end up going round the one-way system again!”

“Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out.”

“The room was fantastic, spacious with every detail considered. The bed was very comfortable and huge! The bathroom had a separate bath and shower with double sinks. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Definitely worth a visit! I forgot to mention the food, that was delicious too!”

“The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night.……

Comfortable bed, huge shower and amazing artwork. Relaxing armchairs in our room with amazing views of the rolling hills and valley at the front of the house, perfect for switching off with a glass of wine. Bruce and Kelly are the most generous and hospitable hosts, and went above and beyond for us - I forgot some dresses in the……
