“The actual hotel was lovely particularly if you are looking for a certain vibe. It was a well renovated country house that was a delight to stay at.
The main issue is that the location is not near anything and feels a bit remote. The grounds could use a little attention as well, but this is of lesser importance.

“We knew the bathroom was not en suite, but we did not realize how far from our room it would be for middle of the night trips up and down all those stairs!
The breakfast was very good. Perhaps they could add some yoghurt. Staff in breakfast room was lovely. No view.”

“The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night.……
