“Lovely week in this house. We were 3 families. Made use of the 2 car park passes and were able to park the other car in the road alongside the car park. We spent most of our time in the kitchen/dining room which is a nice communal area. Showers were really powerful. Location is great for train station and walking down to the main area. Recommend the Indian restaurant and Dovey Inn.”

“We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Bryn Melyn apartment. It's walking distance to the town centre (although it's a bit hilly.) The room is sparklingly clean, cozy and spacious, and has a stunning view. Barmouth is lovely town and has lots of pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended.”

“Amazing place! The ladies in reception of the hotel where we picked up the keys were so lovely. The apartment was stunning and over 2 floors, beautiful big bay window over looking the sea and the beds were very comfortable. It was extremely clean and tidy. Also loved the spa. “We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful property in north Wales. We were blown away by the space and the charm of the house -perfect for our group. The living areas were spacious enough for everyone to relax together and the kitchen had everything we needed for home -cooked meals. The location was very ideal, peaceful and private ,with Georges countryside views, yet close to local attractions and walks. It really felt like a home away from home and the hosts were friendly and helpful……

“Riverside Cottage is situated in a fairytale setting, with woodland behind and the river in front of the cottage. Access is easy, however, and we had no problems finding it. We could park the car close to the front door. Gaining entry was easy, following the clear instructions we'd received, and we found the cottage clean, comfortable and surprisingly spacious. “D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility……

“Wow, this was so quiet, it was amazing. Literally silence. It was a really great to just stop. There was no TV, no radio, nothing. Literally forced to unwind. It is really well placed for Harlech and even down to Barmouth. But sitting outside in the morning having breakfast was just spectacular. "The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night. The toilet also did not work properly, the flush was extremely weak. There was no way of contacting the hotel at night to sort out the shower issue and the reception runs from 3pm to 6pm instead of 8pm as stated here. Would recommend if those management issues were fixed."
