On arrival the property is located at the end of a terrace of 5 houses down an uneven path and through 2 gates. "Lovely pub with rooms in a beautiful village setting. The rooms are fairly small but clean, cozy and looks recently renovated. Well appointed with all the things you need. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order, with tea, coffee, juices and cereal also available. All staff were very friendly and helpful. This is apparently a community owned pub/B&B owned by the village, so deserves to be well supported. Top marks from me, and thoroughly recommended!"

"We had a great stay at the cottage; the location is perfect, and the bird-feeding facilities are a nice touch to get further involved with nature. The kitchen has up-to-date equipment, making life easier; however, cleanliness could be improved. Looking at reviews, I do think our experience could have been a one-off here; however, in some cases, equipment had food on it from previous guests, the dishwasher utensil holder had a small section of mould on it and areas of the house were dusty. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here."
