“The property is very conveniently located to allow great access to all the Cambridge sights. The room was lovely and well-appointed with teas, coffee and even hot chocolate. The property is beautiful and allows for great walks in their green space. The staff were definitely helpful though sometimes with a slightly detached attitude. That is the only criticism I would have. ”

“I stayed here with my family and we had two rooms, each for 3 people. We got placed on the first floor near the access to the pool which was great. Sadly our experience was mixed, partly because one room was beautifully clean whilst the other wasn't - the unclean one; the carpet had crumbs all over it, the bathroom was dirty with toothpaste in the sinks, and the glasses had lipstick on them. “Good base for the week. Did have a couple of times people trying to get in as they thought it was part of the raptor foundation so had to have the door locked all the time. Walls are very thin so could hear the people next door snoring all night. There is a sign up in the bath room saying after 5days you get fresh linen and towels but this didnt happen, i stayed for 7nights. It would of been nice for the bin to of been emptied in that time as its a tiny bin. Room was nice and big, same with the……

“The whole checkin experience was excellent from the owners of this great pub/restaurant/guesthouse despite them not having a clue that i was staying due to Expedia not informing them of my arrival. However they worked around this, and made me feel welcome and even upgraded me to a suite, I did have to pay direct, but assured a refund if the Expedia payment is also taken ”

My only problem was I booked a double room for myself, but the ed was 2 singles joined together. I understand why they do this but I could feel the gap in between the 2 beds and it felt like I was rolling into it all night. Other than the bed a great place to stay”

“Great restaurant and good location in a quiet neighborhood near Cambridge. The staff was very accommodating and even kept the kitchen open late to provide us dinner upon our late arrival. Rooms are small but well appointed & good value for the price. The bed size was advertised as king but it was a double which is small for us. The windows do not open in the room (perhaps for safety as the rooms are all ground floor) so the room was a bit stuffy and warm for our comfort. A fan was provided,……
