First of all, the receiptionist was impolite and even rude. I was told that there was a charge for the carpark. “Beautiful hotel, clean and quiet considering it’s next to a train station. Food was superb, dinner was delicious despite the price and plenty of choice for breakfast. The only criticism I have would be the staff who were very polite and professional when spoken to however could have been more attentive. Had to ask for the bill 3 times after dinner and on check in at reception no information was given about hotel facilities, check out time, breakfast times etc. Great location can get train into……

“The property is very conveniently located to allow great access to all the Cambridge sights. The room was lovely and well-appointed with teas, coffee and even hot chocolate. The property is beautiful and allows for great walks in their green space. The staff were definitely helpful though sometimes with a slightly detached attitude. That is the only criticism I would have. ”

“I booked a single room with private bathroom. However, it does not locate in the room. I needed to go outside every time I used the closet and even I washed my hands. It’s not what I want for privacy and convenience although I was the only one who kept the bathroom key!”

“I really enjoyed my stay at the Jockey Club rooms. I received a warm welcome on arrival and kindly guided to my room. My room was great with wonderful view of the garden and beyond to the church. The bathroom was good and the bed was comfortable. Everything I needed. Breakfast was very good in splendid surroundings to make a good start to the day.
