Top The Wave Hotel Reviews

Lake Powell Resort

Lake Powell Resort

8/10 Good
"The location of Lake Powell Resort is absolutely spectacular, with breathtaking views that are hard to beat. The room itself was a little dated and could use some updating, but that was somewhat expected since the property is part of a national recreation area rather than a typical chain hotel. The staff members were all friendly and helpful. However, every time I visited the front desk—whether for check-in, check-out, or to ask a question—there was another guest voicing a complaint, so it seemed like the hotel may have been experiencing some operational challenges during our stay. We decided to splurge on the breakfast, and it was well worth it. The food was good, but the incredible view made the experience even more enjoyable. The only real disappointment was the pools, which were smaller and less inviting than we had anticipated. Overall, the stunning setting and beautiful scenery made for a memorable stay despite a few shortcomings."

Springhill Suites By Marriott Kanab

Springhill Suites By Marriott Kanab

"This hotel was very nice and fairly new construction. Although it’s great for a romantic getaway, be fair warned that it can accommodate large groups. There were several large groups while we were there which made simple things like going to the pool and eating breakfast a little bit more hectic. I thought the door is also closed kind of loud which makes for an annoying experience when you’re tired and trying to sleep. Overall, I would stay here again, and I thought the property was very nice. The employees were wonderful."

"This was a lovely experience! Our tent was comfortable, and I our view of the stars right from our bed was amazing! We were celebrating our anniversary, and Kaitlyn made it special by hanging a little banner of hearts outside the tent and adding tea light candles next to our bed. It was a very nice getaway!"

"We had a family reunion in Kanab and there were 14 of us. Great vacation home overall! We enjoyed our stay.• Well-stocked kitchen with dishes, pots & pans, dishwasher soap, and dish soap• Bathrooms supplied with bath gel, shampoo, and conditioner• Fun outdoor amenities: pool, in-ground trampoline, and hot tub• Very convenient with 2 washers and dryers• Excellent location — close to townOnly suggestion: the house could use several more bathrooms for the number of people it sleeps. Otherwise, it was clean, comfortable, and a wonderful spot for our family vacation!"
