“This is one of those stays that you don’t find often. I woke up every morning to freshly prepared native breakfast. Every question I had was answered and I got to learn a lot about the country from the owner herself. She was also nice enough to give me a ride to the airport after my ride share cancelled on me. Every moment spent here was meaningful and deeply moved me as a solo traveler. I would highly recommend this place if you want a more local experience. You’ll be right in the heart of……

“The room was not as described and when asked if I could get another room the hotel was filled to capacity with other guest. My room was “203” right by the congregating area for other guest so it was hard at times to rest. The room had paint coming off the walls and the walls weren’t up to the ceiling so there was an opening in the walls allowing sound to be heard outside. “The space is great it needs updating though. I saw from last year other guests suggested a few things that would make a guest’s stay much more enjoyable but those things one year later has not been done. We stayed for carnival and the distance to events held in the Savannah was amazing. Message to the owner(s) toilet paper holder, towel rack, shower door or curtain, spray for ants, fix bathroom door so it can close properly, a/c in living room, new pots, paper plates, plastic forks, kettle……
