Tiles in the bathroom were dirty, sink was dirty and the floor had hair all over. The rooms are also not sound proof as I was hearing the person in the other room snoring loudly all night long. Also, a spider greeted me by the door this morning!

Frequently asked questions
What's included in a Caroni vacation package?
A Caroni vacation package lets you combine round-trip flights, a hotel stay, and a rental car. As Caroni is primarily known for its beaches, many packages feature hotels with direct access to the coast, placing you near popular spots like Maracas Beach, about 10 miles from central Caroni. Many hotels in Caroni also offer airport shuttle service to/from Port of Spain (POS-Piarco Intl.) or complimentary breakfast.Exactly what's included will vary by hotel and package, so it's worth reviewing the details before you confirm your booking.
How can I save money on a Caroni vacation package?
When you bundle, you can save up to 30%*. To save money on a Caroni package, consider traveling during the quieter months or be flexible with your dates to find more options. Bundling your flights and hotel together often unlocks savings compared to booking separately. *Members only. Savings vary.
Is Caroni better suited for a beach vacation or a cultural trip?
Caroni is primarily an outdoor and nature destination, offering a blend of scenic beauty, outdoor activities, and beaches. For a Caroni vacation focused on the coast, you'll find beautiful stretches of sand like Maracas Beach, located about 10 miles from central Caroni, which is popular for swimming and relaxation.Beyond the beaches, the region also provides opportunities for cultural exploration and experiencing city and urban attractions, making it suitable for a varied Caroni vacation package that combines beach time with other experiences.
Do you need to rent a car in Caroni, or is public transport enough?
For a Caroni vacation package, renting a car offers the most flexibility, especially if you plan to explore beyond your resort. As an outdoor and nature destination with beaches, many of Caroni's scenic views and activities are spread out, making a car useful for reaching different spots like Maracas Beach, about 10 miles from central Caroni. However, if your Caroni vacation packages with flights center around a resort stay, a car might not be essential for daily needs, as many properties offer on-site dining and activities. Taxis or shuttle services can also provide transport from Port of Spain (POS-Piarco Intl.) airport and for shorter trips, making a Caroni beach vacation package convenient even without a rental car.
Can I change or cancel my Caroni vacation package if my plans change?
Yes, you can cancel your vacation package via your itinerary page on Expedia or by contacting customer service. Remember that some packages are fully refundable, but the details vary based on each unique booking. A fully refundable package may depend on how far out from the travel dates you're canceling and what airline you are traveling with.
