“As far as the cleanliness, I feel like the room should’ve been cleaned when we arrived yet the beds were not made. They still had dirty blankets and the room itself was not real clean, but it wasn’t horrible either I love this place. I will say that I would definitely go back many more times it’s a cabin so it’s to be expected that it’s not going to be 100%. I just felt like when we arrived the bed should’ve been made with clean blankets and all rather than having to ask someone to come and do……

“The cabin has a good location to access the water; however, it is poorly maintained. Upon arrival, we noticed the chairs and tables outside were covered with dust and bird poo. We cannot close the door very well and we had to fix it. There was no soap, no shampoo, no conditioner provided. What is even worse, we didn’t dare to use the microwave or coffee maker because they look dirty. The refrigerator is also dirty.”

“The room was absolutely perfect for a short trip to Caddo Lake. Two beds, shower/toilet, AC, parking, TV with roku, microwave, fridge, coffee machine, and easy access to everything around the lake. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the AC kept us cool the entire stay. My only complaint is that the showerhead was too powerful, and the water goes everywhere in the bathroom. There is peeling on the floor.”

“Great experience, Kids love this carbin. ”

“This was my husband and I first time to caddo lake and we love to fish and this place was perfect. The only downfall and this has nothing to do with the houseboat itself but it is docked at a boat dock that is also part of uncertain lodge so you never know what kind of people will be utilizing the boat dock while you are there. We didn't have any problems but there were some young kids utilizing the boat dock and was playing loud music and not respectful that we were in the house oat trying to……

“Everything was wonderful, easy to communicate with property owners, and the rental location was close to everything we wanted to see/do.”

“Cute, clean place on the water . Host was so responsive and helpful.”

“The description and photos of this home were off quite a bit. We were under the impression we would have a place to dock our boat. Considering the main focal point in the description is “dock access” and kayaking. You cannot see the water at all from the home, you have to drive to launch your boat, it is 4 each launch and there is nowhere to keep it at the property. There were also a few vehicles taking up parking in the back which is where we would’ve felt more comfortable keeping our vehicle……

“Great communication with the host!”

“We were attending a family reunion at Caddo Lake and needed a house large enough for 12 people. I was having trouble finding one for my family when I found the listing for Cedar Wood Lodge. It was definitely not fancy but really had everything we needed. It was a little confusing when we got there because I had already figured out sleeping arrangements based on the pictures from the listing but one of the bedrooms had completely different beds that what was pictured. It ended up working out……

“Great location. Clean house as described. Really enjoyed the fishing weekend. Thanks!!!”

“Great location to boat ramp, was able to use one of the boat slips overnight. Room was clean, had everything listed there. Water pressure for the shower was awesome, especially after a long hot day out on the lake.”

“The pillows smell bad.”

“People are friendly. Love this place!”

“Great place to stay for a quick get away. Nice walk to the water. Used the kayaks provided. Lake was beautiful. Restaurant nearby with excellent food. I would stay here again.”
