Also, the hot tub is a wonderful plus to soothe those tired muscles after a day of exploring the area in your vehicle and on foot.”

“The room was as described and quite rustic. We could see gaps around the door and A/C unit which was fine at first, but when getting ready for bed we saw a disturbing large spider walk across the floor. I didn’t get a picture of that @$$ but my estimate is that it had a nickel/quarter sized body with some legs for the fashion runway. Long story long, we decided to sleep in the car instead of the room because of that freakishly large spider trying to provide an unrequested turndown service.”

“Great location with hot tub on Hood Canal. We’d arrived in early evening from an Olympic moto ride. Close to restaurants and Alderbrook for breakfast”

“The pics were different from the actual cabin, the chair and futon was way too hard so l had to sit on the floor due to an injured spine. The loft bed was really comfortable, we'll definitely come again and stay at a different cabin ”

“As soon as we opened the door a musty stale air met our sense of smell then sitting on the cloth covered couch lots of food particles/crumbs on it,sent lots of pictures to the host and said I can send somebody to clean it at 7pm,so we declined instead we vacuumed it ourselves.The porch was covered with cherry pink blossoms and dried old leaves,the mat in front of the door has not been lifted fir a while evident by dry old dirt and dust.Trying to cook the pots and pan were rusty and old scratched……

“This was just about one of the "biggest" surprises I've EVER found...Elfendahl and the Wanderbus are truly a HUGE TREASURE!! A stay that is 'magical', for sure! Like going into one of Tolkien's books!! We LOVED it, and the owner and staff were outstanding! Thank you, Gary, for being so good to us, for your conversations with us, & for creating such an extraordinary and wonder-filled place! I want to come back REAL SOON!! Thank you, also, to Candy and Tyler for your help and time……
