"The thing that impressed me the most was the friendliness of every staff member we encountered during our stay. Never experienced that before at a resort. We stayed in a mini suite which overlooked the pool and mountains. Great view! Very comfortable for 3 people especially having 2 full bathrooms. This is a great property and highly recommend. Would definitely go back. The only minor issue is the lack of a grab bar in the shower/tub and not having a slip-resistance material applied to bottom of tub. Taking care of this would help older guests such as myself."

"We took a drive from Ft. Collins along Poudre Canyon with stops to see the giant Stupa at Drala Mountain. We spent the night in Walden at one of the cleanest cabin rentals we have ever stayed in. It was simply furnished with a great location off the main drag with restaurants, bars & coffee an easy walk. We especially enjoyed the service & the view at Rita's Cafe. There was some concern about the security regarding the windows but overall the area was very safe & picturesque."

"Perfect location! Clean lodge nestled in Grand Lake. The front desk was very accommodating for a check in that was not during their typical window due to work commitments. The room was fine for what I needed and the WiFi was reliable. Any accommodations in the area are pricey, but I found this lodge to be nicer than most. Again, very clean but if you like a fluffy pillow, you might want to bring one with you. "

"The property is very conveniently located near the main downtown area. There are plenty of shops and eating options within walking distance. The Yampa river is one block from the property. "

"This is an older property but it’s in fantastic shape. The rooms are evocative of old-style timber lodges, not sleek or super modern but absolutely clean, comfortable and certainly charming. My wife and I stayed in Estes for a couple of days to pick our son up from camp and we would certainly return here next time we need to do so. The location is also perfect — close enough to downtown Estes without being in the hustle and bustle of all the tourists."
