“This was my first time at Tapnell Farm and I loved it. The morning views are amazing. The whole area is really well designed to allow a real sense of space everywhere. We booked into the Slomo sauna/lake/ice bath experience and it was excellent. Organisation from start to finish was clear, easy and friendly”

“I see a late minute booking discount , i rang to ask a couple of questions ,i was so pleased with the customer service , i booked the cottage for 9 of us (5 kids) then rang back about a ferry discount , and also was helped, and got this , the cottage was beautiful and clean , the reception ladies were lovely , my daughter said we never got milk , i opened the fridge ,and they had put 2 pints in there , fresh eggs every morning , 1 hour entry to the farm before the public , discount on activities……

“Wonderful garden to enjoy. Spacious accommodation and minimalist decor. Perfect for access to the beach on foot.”

“Loved the location, by walks and the sea. The living space and bathroom areas are fabulous and large. Everything you could need in the kitchen, the drier was a bonus after using the hot tub (lush), we could dry our towels. Would stay again definitely. Hanging in bedroom was a bit wobbly, could do with fixing. A couple more hooks on the back of the bedroom doors would be useful. These are very minor though and did not affect our holiday at all.”

“Stains on bed sheets, settee really uncomfortable. Really open and exposed, no privacy, woke up to a stranger walking back of cottage. Cleaning not the best. Only a few plates. Nice location shame property let it down. ”

“Great location in city center and close to the ferry terminal. Fully stocked kitchen, if you wanted to cook. The only thing that was a disappointment was that there were no paper towels, napkins, tissues, shampoo, shower gel or soap provided. Very unusual for a vacation rental. Other than that I would Highly recommend. ”

“Really enjoyed our 2 weeks at the property. The property is a lovely old stone cottage with thatched roof. There was 6 of us in the property and we pleased that that it felt much bigger than the photo's on the listing convey. Kid's (and us older ones!) loved the size of the garden with room to play plenty of games.”
