"The staff were really lovely, easy check in and easy check out. But, the bathroom had toothpaste marks all over the sink, glass shelf and mirror. The temperature of the shower was either really hot or really cold, you couldn’t change it manually. The hair dryer in the room didn’t work at all. The big bathroom light didn’t work, only a small one above the mirror when you used the shower you could hardly see what you were doing."

"Great hotel! The location is ideal. We had the family room which was spacious. Plenty of lighting as there were 2 windows. The shower was a mixture of hot, cold, hot etc. We ate at the bar both nights. Food was great. Tamara at reception was amazing. She said we could leave our bags whilst we visited the Steam train. Overall, great experience!"

"Great views from the bedroom towards the sea (apart from the infamous Shanklin lift shaft). Sun rise while lying in bed was fantastic to see. Staff were great and the food was good. Although some areas were a little worn and could do with a bit of TLC, it was very clean and tidy."

"Taking account of the fact our stay was a budget stay, I felt we received value for money for many reasons. Location was central, not far from town centre. On the arrival day, we arrived lots of delays as missed a coach and had to find another way to get into the island. Even though we got to the hotel much later than planned, we were enabled to be shown our room . The bedroom was on the ground floor, as I'd requested on my booking form, even thought it was a late booking. The bedroom was a little tired, but clean and warm so acceptable. Location was central and had our arrival gone to plan, and it's only the fact that our plans were altered, which isn't anyone's fault and they were a helpful with our issues when our problems were communicated earlier in the day. Can't expect more than that. Breakfast was very good. Fresh and tasty and efficient. We were using public transport but understand there was free parking, just can't comment on that."
