“This is a hotel in a small community on the costal estuary. Not a 5 star Marriott, but you wouldn’t want one in this quaint town.”

Breakfast room an orangery to rear lovely all furniture English oak including stairs in bed rooms in-bar area etc food excellent”

“Location very good ,short walk to the beach. Clean room and overall ok. I was thinking that breakfast was included in the rate for a room bu it was not. One day we had to pay extra £30 for breakfast for us 2. Staff was also little bit funny with me at breakfast as I am foreign.I did not feel welcome. I would not stay again.”

“A beautiful B & B run by Karen in a tiny hamlet near Keswick. The room was delightful with comfortable bed and furnishings that matched the age and style of the building perfectly. Lovely view from the window over Karen's wonderful garden with, at the time I stayed, a hen with 8 tiny chicks. Parking was easy and the breakfasts filling and delicious. A wonderful stay in the Lake District.”

“We stayed only 1 overnight on the way down from scotland. We could see lot of people staying for visiting the lakes. The hotel is in a very nice location. They are also pet friendly and they provided us a towel and a bowl for the dog. We highly recommend both breakfast and set menù dinner which was very nice. Room was clean and bathroom looked recently renewed.”
