“Robbie super helpful and friendly ( Batman/ waiter everywhere) Great location on The Rebellion Way cycle , cool room in the heat and very good food - beyond normal pub food We left very early and they made a breakfast to go for us, which was really appreciated Really enjoyable stay”

“The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The room service young lady was lovely. However that’s all the positives. Negatives. We had already paid an agency but were asked to provide credit card details on a piece of paper, just unsafe as anyone could access it when stored in an office. The staff took umbrage when I pointed out how wrong this was. No details then no stay, we had no option. The small car park was not marked so it was a free for all. “Scarborough Hill Country Inn is a a gem! We were pleased to be offered a room upgrade when we arrived as we had initially booked a small double room and a larger room was available. We were very happy with the room offered - bright, airy, thoughtfully furnished and extremely clean. An extensive range of teas, coffee and hot chocolate were provided in the room along with complementary water. The restaurant was busy, however staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble. 5 stars for the food……

“Lovely old building and themed rooms. We were allocated the China room as we told the hotel ahead of time we were celebrating our Sapphire wedding anniversary so it was lovely that it was all blue. My only criticism was that in hindsight, it was a very expensive hotel with no reception, no spa (we booked into the orange grove for treatments but assumed it was a proper spa with swimming pool only to find it was just rooms adjacent to the hotel.) £210 per night was a tad over the top just for a……
