“Old building that has been well maintained and kept the original look. We were put in the more modern portion to accommodate 3 of us. Pleasantly surprised with the open air museum and proximity to most WWI sites.”

“We staying in the XXL which came with 2 double beds and 1 double sofa bed. The 2 double beds and sofa bed we're separated by a wall and sliding door. The room was a good size and the bathroom clean. The walk in shower was excellent. The air con was good in the main room (sofa bed) but we found the separate room (2 double beds) was quite warm because of the heatwave. The beds were comfy. “Wij hadden 3 kamers naast elkaar. Dat was top maar we zaten in een gedeelte wat nog niet af was ofzo. Betonnen muren en rook niet heel fris op de gang. Kamer verder wel in orde.”

“We loved our stay at this absolutely charming and beautiful hotel Ypres. It’s set on extensive and beautifully landscape grounds only a 10 minute walk from the centre of town. Extremely well maintained to a very high standard, the staff was marvellous and the dining room was excellent. The cost for breakfast seemed a little high at first, but after we experienced the breakfast, we had no reservations. Extensive buffet with freshly cooked options. Very high-quality. We also enjoyed dinner there……
