Excellent meals service very good and friendly staff

The hotel is situated pretty much at the top of the island. This isn’t a problem because the taxi service is fine and it’s a wonderful walk. The only thing I’d say, though, about the hotel itself is that, while it is very clean, it is dated. The room where we stayed was an attic, essentially, which meant that it got pretty hot pretty quickly. The air-conditioning in the room was adequate, but not terrific. Further there is no elevator; so if you have any mobility problems, you’re out of luck here. There’s just no easy way to get anywhere unless you’re on the first floor. Same for getting in and out of a shower. You have to climb over the lip of a tub and hang on. Again, if you have mobility issues, this could be a real hazard, especially when you’re trying to get out. On the positive side, though, the staff is really quite accommodating. In addition, the restaurant at the hotel is really excellent. We only ate there once, but it was by far the best meal we had on the island.
