Charming, friendly staff. Comfortable well appointed accommodation, though room in older part of building a little “tired “ in some areas. Excellent choice at breakfast exceeds the norm for this grade of hotel.
Shuttle bus to/fro town is a very welcome extra in this hilly location.

Avoid at any cost, beautiful isle but the establishment is the worst I ever stay. Breakfast was horrible in day one even fried egg was burned, mushroom rock hard and second day they haven’t even bother to serve the breakfast all though they wanted us to eat early. Horrible experience all around, avoid, avoid, avoid

We stayed for a week in September and the hotel is really lovely. Rooms and bathroom were clean and modern. The windows in the rooms only opened a few inches so would have been nice to open them a bit further. Rooms were quiet at night.
Nice relaxed bar and large terrace with seating and sea view. Breakfast served in the restaurant with cooked food to order and self service continental. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and the food and service was first class. There was a large tour party having dinner that night but it didn't affect the service.
The hotel is about a 10 minute walk downhill to the sea front. It's a bit of a slog back up a very steep hill in the evening. Wouldn't affect guests that had a car.
I would stay at the hotel again if I had the use of a car.
