"Right on the ocean, balcony with great view"

"Keeping in mind that the Riverwalk Inn is over 65 years old, which the staff is very candid about, this is a nice place to stay. Generally, the rooms are well maintained, and absolutely clean. The view from the balcony is so peaceful, and gives the guests a sense of what Astoria is. The breakfast is typical offerings, and the breakfast area is as clean and nice as the rooms."

"Atomic Motel is a fun property with helpful staff right on the main drag in Astoria. The only downside is that the bathroom is small with round toilet bowls. Really that is the only real downside. Kuerig Machine in the rooms is a plus, and the available Queen x2 + Twin rooms is a handy little difference for some travelors. The only other downside is that the rooms with two beds are a Queen and a Twin. But they show you the room options going in so it isn't a surprise. (Queen, Queen + Twin, Queen x2 + Twin being the options)"

"This is our go to place on Astoria. It's a bit out of the way, but not far. The staff is incredible, very accommodating. The on site laundry is a huge plus. We stop.on long road trips and do our laundry, then enjoy our in room spa. We get a room with a fireplace too, nice and cozy. I have family in Astoria, so I can visit them and escape to the Lloyd for recoup. We've been there in the winter and sping. Beautiful views!!! Breakfast is always top notch. They cook it fresh on site, no powdered eggs. Close to the Astoria trail! Lots of good walking paths. We look forward to going back, not just to see my family. Lol."

"The top point probably is the location immediately on the beach. It has a dated old lodge feel in that furniture is very worn - but bed /sheets/pillow good. Rooms w a higher cost have dunes/ocean view. We paid for view and loved it. Super friendly reception. Breakfast fine. Our room had a gas fireplace (but we did not use) for cozy nights. We would say that our room was on the smaller side, but sufficient. With queen bed had space for two chairs and small table. Consider tradeoffs btw location/cost/level of wear."
