"It's an old motel. It can even be seen in the 80s movie short circuit. That said the owner appears to have done his level best. The rooms are clean. I've used this motel 3 years in a row. Staff is great, rooms are reasonably priced. You can see the buildings age especially in the bath rooms. But they've been clean and mold free on all my visits.
