“We loved our stay at the Laughing Coyote. If you are looking for quiet and solitude, this is the place. The cabin was comfy and had everything we needed. We explored the MANY trails around the area and fell more in love with the western side of the San Juans. Helpful info to know: you are 38 miles (1 hour drive) from Dolores on dirt roads. The roads to/from Rico are not as maintained so the drive is over an hour. The distance didn't bother us, since the views are breathtaking either direction....

“Probably the most peaceful place I've stayed. Great location for a visit to Mesa Verde. Off the main road enough to not get any traffic sounds. Tiny home has everything you need and hosts communication was great. ”
