“Red blanket cabin is beautiful. It is an updated cabin with all the necessary items to make your stay comfortable. Very clean. We stayed for two nights while visiting nearby Crater Lake NP. The owners were quick to answer any questions we had. We couldn’t see their home but the owners home is on the back of the property. Very peaceful place. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.”

“This cabin is adorable and the property is gorgeous. It's easy to access, close to town, yet completely in the country. It is clean and well appointed with everything you need. We loved all of the history that is preserved, the deer in the yard and listening to the creek. It would have been nice if there was a lamp in the dining nook, and maybe a nightlight. But overall this place is exactly as advertised and a great country living experience.”

“The property is as described. The architecture is ... quirky. Hallways that lead nowhere. Strange elevated, carpeted stage in rear upstairs bedroom. And what might be a deal-killer for some, there are NO DOORS to the upstairs bedrooms. And lots of random rooms with no discernible purpose nor doors. You will want to get very, very familiar with how to use the main fireplace if you plan to stay warm in colder months. That said, my three teenage boys and I had a blast. Would consider returning...

“This place was the perfect getaway to celebrate our anniversary! It was clean, beautiful, and had everything you could want. The loft was so cozy and the window was great for letting in fresh air. However, you do have to crawl to get from the stairs to the bed and it’s easy to hit your head if you aren’t careful, so that’s one thing to consider if you have mobility issues. Overall, would absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back in the future!”

The kitchen was very well-equipped for cooking (even a salad spinner!!), everything was comfortable, and the host(ess) was easy to work with and responsive to questions. Great fireplace and cool bathroom. Had board games and a gas grill. We didn’t have kids or pets with us but it would be fine for either. Perfect getaway!”

You can watch the neighbors horses from the kitchen table. On the not so great side there were mouse droppings in the hide a bed so one of us had to sleep on the couch which wasn’t what we expected.
