Lovely and peaceful waterside cabin stay

The cabin had a gorgeous interior, particularly the bathroom. The service was quality at the restaurant and we appreciated the local hospitality from the owners. I would recommend this spot for folks going to Crater Lake South Entrance at Rim Village

Lovely stay

Enjoyed staying in the cabin. They said it was a 1 bedroom, but it is a studio. The bathroom is awesome!!!!big shower and tub, heated floors. Nice and quiet. Beautiful views from the deck and windows. Clean!

Great cabin in the middle of nowhere

Cabin was in good shape. The large bathroom was great. It is in the woods so there were some insects inside. Check in at the restraunt/bar area upon arrival to get actual key. Very far from pretty much any kind of town so be sure to come prepared

This is a beautiful place. Just look out for the mosquitos in June and July. Don't know about sleeping 3. There is a king size bed and a cot in the closet with some extra blankets and a pillow. Would work for a child. The restaurant is excellent.

Great staff beautiful cabin

The property was in excellent condition. Other than issue with TV that was not working. Anthony went out of his way to get us another TV and hook us up to prime TV. There was still issue with connecting when we left. Anthony and Anita who worked at the restaurant was very pleasant and helpful. Beautiful area.

Cozy & Quiet

Great except that they couldn't get the tv system up and going. ( they tried) No big deal for us, though. Such a beautiful spot on earth. Only stayed one night, but wish we could have stayed longer. Good explanation of the history of the area too. Oh, and king sized bed was really comfy.

Harriman Springs Cabin

Great. The camp grounds were quiet. The back deck was nice. The cabin finishes and bed where beyond expectations. WiFi instructions were a little wonky. Coffee maker had a hole in the water holder. Communication with the host was spotty. Best way to reach them was to stop by in person at the camp ground lodge.

When my wife and I arrived at the property we were informed that they were unaware of any rentals and the cabins were not ready for use. We had to detour to Bend Oregon to find a place to stay on last minute notice. Very disappointing being that I made my reservation weeks in advance and staying at a place with my last name was going to be the highlight of our trip.

Cozy cabin

This cabin is in a very peaceful and quiet location about 45 minutes from Crater Lake. Check in was difficult, but host was very nice once we were able to connect. We loved the beautiful bathroom. Little details would have made the stay more pleasant. Only enough coffee for one morning and we were there two. The restaurant was closed when we arrived so we had to go the store down the street for dinner. Had pb & j j for dinner. :(. Bring food that is microwaveable or doesn’t need to be cooked.

Loved our stay here. We brought our kayaks and the water was close to the cabin. A ten minute paddle and we were in pelican bay with lots of huge trout and the biggest one I’ve ever caught. The water at Harriman is actually a 42deg spring of crystal clear water. The bay is the usual lake water. This is a quiet peaceful place. The restaurant and bar are beautiful. Julia runs the bar and restaurant and John runs the properties. The cabin was clean and nice. We brought some of our own food and drinks which was a wise choice because if the restaurant is closed, it’s a drive for food. The location is good for being central to crater lake, lake of the woods, fish lake, four mile lake, Klamath falls, etc.

Quiet, Beautiful, Peaceful!

I wanted to do some bird watching in the Klamath Lake area and found this place on VRBO. There was someone working in the bar/restaurant when I arrived so that check in was easy. The cabin is absolutely beautiful!! New, lovely, and small but efficient, it has anything that you would want. The bathroom was huge with a big tub and a window looking into the woods. The deck was also large and I spent a lot of time sitting there with my binoculars and the Merlin app, listening to so many kinds of birds!! I didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant as there rarely seemed to be anyone there. I did talk to John a couple of times related to the TV and wifi--they do need to update their instructions as the TV was difficult to operate and I never did get the correct wifi password. No real problem, everything can wait, which is a good lesson for the few days I was there! I would definitely come again! Oh, and I would suggest that they have some bird information at the lodge, many people would appreciate it!

Wonderful cabin, keep on top of your details

This is a very nice and comfortable cabin, the workmanship is superb. We checked in on a Tuesday. The listing shows a nice lodge with a full bar. Unfortunately the lodge is closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday breakfast. The cabin is miles from a town. It seems logical that the owners would tell you that there is no on site food. VRBO sends you a text saying "here are your keys!" This is not true. They send you only the address. I sent a text at about 1:00 requesting check in instructions, no reply. We called the restaurant and found them to be closed. We texted again, no reply. At that point we went to the store and bought something to microwave. There is no stove. We drove up to the property to find it locked. Fortunately there were some campers who knew the owner and he'd be back soon. He was, and once he found the keys we had a wonderful stay. It is a beautiful cabin in a lovely spot but stay on top of your logistics.

Not Again!

No communication from host. Check in and how to get the keys were not communicated (If you are not going to be available to help with check in and in helping guests acquire keys to cabin then why don't you have number key pads for unlocking the cabin doors?) If you stay here from Sunday night into a summer week (Monday on), don't expect to eat at the onsite restaurant because it's not open. Mind you we are far from civilization. Location was too far from Crater Lake to go back and forth so its a "go and stay" all day type of visit for the National Park, so keep that in mind. Mosquitoes are rampant which makes sense in the woods and near a lake. I was very disappointed that I chose this place thinking of having a restaurant onsite for my stay and then it not being available for any meals bc of hours of operations. Not Again.

Good be a bit better.

Apparently the internet was down and was down our entire stay. We did not receive any check in instructions. We did finally find someone at the bar to contact the owner... but really a note on the door would have been helpful. Also ceiling fan is really dusty but everything else was very clean and tidy.

Cozy Christmas Cabin

My wife and I had a great stay here. The cabin was very clean and looks to have been recently updated as everything was new looking and upscale for a cabin on a lake. Bathroom was super nice with a large shower and jacuzzi tub. The towels made me realize we need new ones at home! The wifi didn't work but the owner said to contact him directly so we could've gotten it fixed, we just didn't need it since we had a laptop we could hook up and hotspot from our phones. We have Verizon and we're able to get a bit of 5g signal while in the cabin, which I wasn't expecting. The deck has some great views of the water and we got some amazing pictures of the sunrise on Christmas morning. We were visiting family that live in Rocky Point and this place was a godsend for us as it was super close to them and was so nice to come back to at night. We also had a delicious steak dinner at the main lodge the first night we were there. Overall this is an awesome place that we will definitely be staying at again
