“Great centralized location in Wailua right on the ocean. Beach next door, plenty of restaurants and shops nearby walking distance. We rented bikes for the week with excellent scenic riding in both directions with the 5 mile bike path nearby.The unit itself is beautifully newly renovated with much of the local monkeypod woodwork personally crafted and installed by the owner, Luke. “Property is as advertised. Host was accommodating. Watched surfers, kite surfers, and saw turtles right from the balcony. Beach chairs and boogie boards were a nice touch. Even though it’s on the first floor, it is completely private and secure. Couldn’t see anyone else on their lanais and no one comes back where the lanai is. Note, there are a few stairs to the unit. Not a problem for us, but could be important for someone else. Been to Kauai before and stayed in Princeville. Too congested and……
