“This house was incredible! From the moment you pull into the driveway, you will know you made the right decision. Mackenzie was super reachable. The house was clean and comfortable. The outdoor shower will exceed your expectations. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for an amazing experience in true Aloha.”

“We had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the whole process easy. The river was very nice and we really enjoyed spending time there. One thing to note is that it can be a bit difficult to find after dark, as it’s easy to drive past due to how dark the area is. Also, a 4-wheel drive vehicle is definitely recommended since the road is not paved. It was an easy drive in a Jeep, but lower-clearance vehicles may have……

“You probably shouldn’t post this. The view from the room into the rain forest was lovely but it would be nicer if the cabin had an outdoor sitting space. The amenities were bad- insufficient regular coffee, coffee machine malfunctioned & had to be replaced, thin small towels & only 2, no soap in the dispensers or in the Nivea bottles in the shower, the sink soap dispenser had watered down soap so it was useless. The bed was comfortable however. I would not recommend this unit.”

“This is a unique experience...to enjoy the privacy of a rain forest .... with 15 foot ferns and rain dripping from every surface. We loved the back porch with its hot tub. That fireplace is terrific. I was more than happy to spend 60 in the local grocery store to have plenty of firewood for a blazing fire every evening. The place is well maintained...everything worked just fine. I recommend it to honeymooners but also to anyone who longs to immerse themselves in the wonders of a rain……

“Had the pleasure of meeting andrew the owner at check in. He was super friendly and gave a detailed tour of the property. The cabin is very private and surrounded by lush vegetation.The open air concept keeps the place cool and makes you feel like you are in the midst of nature. The netting keeps bugs out and lets you enjoy the sounds of the forest at night. Internet worked perfect and i was able to take some work calls while i was there. Highly recommend booking here if you are looking to……

“While we spent most of our visit out and about hiking, sightseeing, and swimming, this cabin was a great place to have a few meals and lie our heads between exploring the big island. The bed was super comfortable and the bedroom and patio were really nice. The kitchen was well stocked for those looking to cook. However, there were a few cleanliness issues: the previous guests did not throughly clean the dishes, which attracted bugs, there was mold in the fridge, and there was a slight musty……

“Despite Hurricane Lala’s attempts to keep us from this magical and lovely Sacred Valley location (power was out for a few days but returned the morning of our arrival— we needed a working fridge for medication storage) we enjoyed two blissful days in this rustic locale. Katlyn worked hard to communicate about the power issues and was gracious about a possible refund if we needed to find somewhere else on the North Shore. Luckily, it all worked out. Headlines: shower is amazing. Tankless……

“The location within the rainforest was very nice, with a beautiful forest and river view and great sounds to sleep to. I had issues with air circulation, mold, and bugs, though. With the windows being so tiny, it got hot in there very fast and there was only a small fan on the desk - another fan or two would make it much better. Also, after night 1 I started feeling congested and realized the pillows I was sleeping on had a black mold, most likely due to the moist atmosphere and minimal airflow.……

“This property is magical. We loved every minute we spent here. The outdoor shower was so refreshing with nature all around. Listening to the rain on the lanai was the highlight of my morning. Not to mention getting to pet rescue dogs and peak at rescue bunnies. I honestly wished I booked this place for at least a week instead of going back to Oahu. Will Def be back:)”
