“This is definitely something different from most vacation properties. Unfortunately for us, our stay corresponded with a 'kona low' rain storm and so we couldn't take full advantage of uniqueness of the property. In drier weather this could have been a lot of fun, but with constant rain it was only a step up from being stuck in a tent in the rain. The property managers were super friendly and helpful. The kitchenette is basically like camping. Don't plan on cooking much in it.”

“This is a guest house beside the owner's place. The room was clean and spacious and the weather at the end of March was so comfortable that we didn't have to switch on the AC at night. However, it did get very hot in the day so we opened the windows to let the hot air out. Also, a few very cute and friendly cats also live on the property. Loved the place!”

“Clean property and easy to find however the kitchen needs a revamp and the overall space could use some changes in furniture. No drawers in bathroom or bedroom even though there is plenty of space and the kitchen had zero pans to use in the provided oven.”

“Easy check-in. Location is amazing. We stayed for 5N/6D. Everything is available in the house. Kitchen is stocked. We did a lot of cooking there. KTA for groceries is about 4 min drive/ 6 min bus ride. There are two amazing beaches nearby. Magic Sand is 3 min walk, and Kahaluu (perfect for snorkeling) is 15 min walk. We walk and bus the whole time since we don't have a car. Beds are very comfy as well. Thank you Salty Jungle team! Amazing Kona vacation for us. See you again next year. ”

“Connie & Andrew were warm and welcoming. We only saw them to get the keys. The Hideaway, a comfortable and cozy spot, is perfect for two people. The kitchen was stocked with all the right equipment for cooking at home. The bed was comfortable. We loved the outdoor shower, with fast-working hot water. The coqui frog symphony at night might not be for everyone, but I loved it, and found it relaxing. We would definitely come back, and highly recommend it. ”
