We live on 5 acres in Maine, so we found the neighbors to be to close for our comfort ... however, the convenience to Boston off set this fact. I would highly recommend this place.....but NOT VRBO. We will likely never rent thru VRBO again. We found them to be price gouging when we wanted to add another night to our booking. They doubled the nightly rate (for a Wednesday) saying……

It’s located on a very quiet building and on a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Very close to Boston Medical Center as well as Boston Children’s Hospital and subway and train stations. “My partner and I enjoyed our stay at Maverick Suites on Newbury. The room was clean, easy to access, and felt safe. It also has a full kitchen with an oven, stove, microwave, and all other needs if you want to prepare your own meals at any point. We were on the first floor, so we heard a lot of noise from the street. For us, it wasn’t disruptive, and we were provided with earplugs just in case. The street is bustling, so the noise was to be expected. My only complaint was the low water……
