“The good from the stay is we received a full refund from VRBO/Property Management within 3 days of our cancelling the property. Upon arrival we found the entire property very dirty, towels were in the stand up shower on the floor dirty & wet. The 2 beds were not worthy of new guests with sheets, blankets & pillows appearing as if someone had slept in beds with no preparation for new arrivals. The sponge utilized to clean the plates & utensils was very old & dirty, not to mention the plates &……

“We stayed for two nights, and the apartment is decorated beautifully. The beds are very comfortable, and the hot water and water pressure are great. The stairs are a bit narrow, but we didn’t have any trouble with them.The only issue we ran into was entering the apartment. It seems a new digital key lock was recently installed, but the information provided (including the videos) hadn’t been updated, so we weren’t given the code. “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rachel’s beautiful home, which was not only incredibly charming and clean, but also perfectly located in walking distance to restaurants and shops in Marblehead’s old town. It happened to snow the first night of our stay, and we were pleased to see that she made sure her outdoor porch and steps had been promptly shoveled and salted. I would highly recommend Rachel’s place to anyone visiting Marblehead! ”
