"We absolutely loved this darling little cabin in the woods. It was so cozy and in a wonderful, peaceful location. Close to Jedidiah Smith Redwoods and Crescent city. Not too far from Prairie Creek Redwoods either, if you like exploring the coast and various trails. We can’t wait to come back to visit."

"House was clean, quiet, and as described on listing. Well stocked kitchen to be able to cook ourselves. We couldn’t get the hot water to work in master shower, and the pipes are reversed in the other bath. Beds were comfortable. Neighborhood is pretty old and run down, but the location was nice to be able to access coastal hikes, Crescent City, and many of the Redwood hikes."

"Our family needed a place to stay before hitting the trails of the Redwood Forest and this place was perfect! It was very dog friendly for our furry family with a wonderful fenced in backyard. I love that there were plenty of blankets around the house for anyone who got cold, and there were plenty of towels for showers in the morning, very thoughtful! "This Smith River Home is beautiful and in a great location. Very close to Jedidiah Smith SP and within walking distance to the Smith River. Home has everything you could need for your stay, was very clean and the hosts are excellent. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay with wildlife in the backyard, this is it. One of our favorite VRBOs out of hundreds. We will definitely return."

Beautiful serene private place
"Sylvia and Larry are amazing hosts. They're super friendly and are very helpful. It was quite the drive getting here since the road wasn't great but it was definitely worth it to be in a place that is so well curated for nature lovers. There's a private pond right next to the cabin with a hammock and some chairs to chill out on. A beautiful lawn for my dog to run around freely. Overall just a serene stay. Loved it!"
