“The House is lovely- Edwardian, with high ceilings, and wonderful parquet floors. It’s two blocks away from the river and downtown.
The bedroom was comfortable; the bathroom was huge and luxurious.
The couple who own the house and run the B&B are extremely good at what they do - friendly, charming, and super-efficient.
It was an elegant and enjoyable experience.

“It was pretty gross. Stains all over the floor in the room and hallways. Alot of scummy looking people sitting in cars doing who knows what. Looks like alot of the people who stayed there live there. I was woken up at 6 AM by people yelling and fighting in the room I shared a wall with. I personally thought it was gross and would never stay there again.”
“Quick in and out for one night. Just needed a place to sleep, not hang out or use as home base. Attending event 30 miles away but all closer hotels were already booked or overpriced. Even this place was sold out.
Tried to check in early but no rooms ready. We sat in car outside and desk manager came out to tell us a room was ready and we could check in earlier than expected. Appreciated him going out of his way for us. ”
“Great location and very friendly staff and clean hotel. Would recommend if you are staying in Janesville. Also a Cracker Barrel within steps, where we had a wonderful meal.”
