“Our first room was filthy, dirt and something wet by the phone, the phone was also very dirty as were the windows in the inside. There was dirt inside the frig and the outlet by the bed did not work nor did the tv. We got moved to a new room and I showed the employee the dirty napkin I used to wipe the filth off by the phone, she didn't really say anything. The next room was cleaner. Bed's were kind of hard. We did not have the breakfast because I was afraid if the rooms and building were that……

“The front desk staff were AMAZING. However, I was there for 8 nights. Three times I had to take dirty towels to the front desk to request clean ones. Our room was actually "cleaned" two times. One of those times they left the dirty towels in the room. Everyday I asked the front desk staff to address this and I truly believe they did their best. However whoever is in charge of the cleaning staff needs to be made aware of these issues.”

“Cleanest hotel ever. Granted the building is older, but this is the best maintained property ever. Friendly staff. Breakfast was perfect. I mean so many choices, the donuts are in little packages. There is yogurt and fruit cups and fresh bananas apples and oranges. Cereal in little boxes. Hard boiled eggs, cheese omelets, plain omelets. Milk cartons. Bacon, waffles, French toast, sausage!!!! So awesome. Pool was very warm and hot tub worked.Bed was comfy air conditioning worked fine.”

“Staff was nice and friendly, however the hotel is falling into disrepair. Many ceiling leaks and water damage all over property including in the pool area which was actively leaking. Elevator out of service due to a flood on the lower level. Pool water was fairly cold and our room consistently smelled like pot or cigarettes and we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. We had to sleep all night with the bathroom exhaust fan running. Complimentary breakfast was good. Older hotel that was……

“Very clean, great location with several good restaurants within walking distance, about 20 minutes to downtown Madison. Fun pool and hot tub.”

“Have little smell ”

“We left in the early morning to visit relatives. When we returned at 2:30pm I room had not been cleaned. We talked to the front desk and were assured it would be done within an hour. We went to the pool and returned at 4:30. It had not been done and no one ever showed up to do it. Tacky!”

“We had an excellent stay at this hotel, it was in a beautiful downtown area right next the river. Was super nice and comfortable.”
